THE LAB FLOORGUARD is a water-based, hydrophobic pure acrylic sealer and protective coating designed to seal and protect suitably prepared cementitious and other compatible substrates. It penetrates porous surfaces and helps reduce the penetration of oil, grease, acids and alkalis, while providing excellent resistance to water pick-up, water whitening, efflorescence and hydrophilic staining. Its versatile, non-yellowing formulation provides a durable semi-gloss protective finish across a wide range of applications.

The performance of a sealer depends heavily on substrate condition, porosity, moisture and correct preparation. Cementitious substrates should not exceed 10% moisture content, and some surfaces may require an appropriate The Lab primer before FLOORGUARD is applied.
